Today you are bidding on two of my 1982 GI Joe MOBAT Tanks. The Tank on the right is a first release MOBAT, as you can see by no pegs coming through the tracks to hold them on. The tracks are in good condition and stay on fine, but Hasbro soon replaced no peg tracks with pegged tracks like the 82 MOBAT on the left. The tank on the right's motor ceased to work long ago, the battery cover was lost, and my brother removed the motor and electric switch then. But the gear box, and gears are still inside. GI Joe Heaven.com sells MOBAT motor, battery covers, and switch replacement parts. The tanks body/paint is in good condition with minor play wear, and the decals are beginning to discolor and peal. Also the hitch is broken. The main cannon still locks in the up position, but the machine gun turret is missing the little gun cover. The turret still clicks when it slides to the forward, stop, and backward position. The Steeler with this one has some play wear, is a bit different (color scheme) and is missing his file card, uzi, and visor. The left tank is complete and runs great in forward, climbing, and in turning. It appears to have an issue in reverse though, as it will stop after a foot or so. I can't figure it out as forward works fine and it climbs great. Anyway, it has all the parts including the machine gun cover, battery cover, hitch, and the gun stays in the up position. Paint/body and decals are in very good condition with only a few light scratches/blimishes. This tank is an 82 second release as you can tell by the pegged wheels and tracks. The Steeler that comes with this one is in great condition, and only has slight paint wear on his boot tips, and Rt. pants pocket. Yes he still has the gold rings going around the middle of both arms and all his paint from the pockets up is very nice. This Steeler also has his visor, but is missing the file card, and uzi. Who ever wins or buys, these will be nice additions to your collection. Thanks.
